The system provides seamless issuance of transit pass. This system helps in monitoring and keeping records of transit permits for inter-state and intra-state transportation of timber and other forest produce from private lands/ Government/ private depot and other minor forest produce. It also deals with timber imported into India through Kandla/ Mundra and timber meant for export purposes.
The online transit pass management system is available for timber imported at Kandla and Mundra port. After registering and getting approval for the existing timber stock, a merchant can apply for e transit passes up to the limit of approved timber stock.
An application for renewal of a Sawmil licenses shall be made at least three months before by owner. The applications are verified by the Deputy conservator of forests and renewed.
With an objective of augmenting income of farmers and also increasing tree cover, quality seedlings suitable to the site, a minimum of 250 and maximum of 1000, are planted/ got planted through Government Assistance under this scheme.
Interested in raising of seedling can apply for this scheme. Under this scheme, Rs. 2.20 per seedling are provided in three instalments. Applicant needs to apply up to 31st August of that particular year.
The owner of the domestic cattle will have to apply online for the compensation for cattle killed by any Wild Animal within protected area or outside protected area. The applications are verified and approved by the competent authority.
The interested person/groups are required to apply online for the permission of research on the subject decided by the state forest department or by individuals or institutions or universities. The chief Wildlife Warden, Gujarat State will decide about the permission as per the rules.
The Government has a scheme of creating parapet walls along unsecured wells to minimize the incidents of wildlife falling in the well. For the purpose of getting 50% government assistance the beneficiaries are required to apply online.
For photography or shooting of wildlife and related activities in protected areas by an individual, institution or company, permission is required from the Chief Wildlife Warden under the provisions of the Wildlife Act. There is a system for applying online.
